replacement filters for if you already have the sink attachment. they work like the ones that come with the sink attachment and are easy to switch out. if you already have the brita filter system faucet attachment on your sink, these are the replacement filters you need to use when your first one that came with it runs out. just follow the instructions. they work fine, just like the one that came with your brita filter set. i like them and use it mostly for brushing teeth water, but its good for drinking water too. the water comes through in a stronger, thinner stream with the filter on.

Really how would I know how effective this is. I like the price here, saved $5 over the store price. That's good. I like that you can flip from filterd to non filtered, let's the filter last longer. But that's a function of the base. Now if this were a review of the base and system all together all I can say is I played he'll getting this not to fly off the faucet. It leaked and was pretty much awful. But I got it on right and now it's a year later with no problems. I shudder to think some day I'll have to replace the base. I might try Pure but after reading those reviews, maybe not. If you have the Brita system you need this filter so what can I say, it's cheaper here.

I love getting my Brita tap water filters from Amazon. The price is right and it does it’s job. My tap water is icky and has all kinds of particles floating in it. This filter definitely makes a difference in filtration and taste. My family and I use it daily, and it gives me a piece of mind. Because most of us have no idea what is in our water we should not take any risks of what we put in our bodies. I would recommend this brand and product to anyone.

Brita products are pretty self-explanatory. Love the kitchen sink attachment that you need to purchase separately to go with these filters. But there is an indicator that turns from green to red whenever it is time to change the filter, so nice, no more keeping track of how many months before you have to change your filter or resetting the indicator on top of your pitcher. I've had one filter going for almost half a year before I had to change it. Water tastes great, have never had a problem with the taste or look of my water going through a Brita filter.

I was delighted to find that Amazon offered this product as I am finding it harder and harder to find in local drug stores. I live in an area where water is less that clear when it comes out of the faucet. I do need a filter. I've found that the Brita On Tap Faucet Water Filter System is the best way to handle this problem. Not only does this item filter the water clear, removing impurities and cysts, it has a three way lever for choosing which way the water runs. One is for the filtered water, used whenever I draw water to drink or cook; one is a steady stream directly from the fauct for filling the sink to wash the dishes, and one is a spray which is very useful in many ways during the day. I am very pleased with this product and very happy that I have now found a way to get my replacement filters bi-monthly without worrying that the local stores will be out of the product when I need it.

So realistically, I have to state that it doesn't really seem to change the flavor of the water. Technically water is supposed to be flavorless to begin with, so the fact that the water has somewhat of a taste after going through the filtration means that the filter isn't really doing TOO much to help purify the water. However, there's only so much a filter can do to physically filter out water (especially when it comes to ions, which should hypothetically be impossible for this to filter out physically, though I don't know if maybe it's designed to chemically absorb ions somehow... that is a possibility, but I'm too lazy to look into it right now), so I don't blame it for not doing a perfect job. Regardless, the review is supposed to be just for the filter replacements, not the actual Brita system as a whole, so I will give it a 5/5 because it plugs right into the brita filtration system that I have on my faucet, so it does what it's advertised to do. Any complaints on the filtering properties would have to fall on the 'brita system' as a whole.

We've been using Brita on Tap for a few years and are very happy with the taste of the water we get from it. We usually buy the white filters, but for some reason the chrome filters are currently almost 5 bucks cheaper. The chrome finish is shiny and looks nice. The filters fit perfectly every time, we've never had an issue with them. The water tastes very clean, unlike our horrible tap water. We even use it for boiling water to cook with, since cooking water can affect the flavor of food. Having the filter on the tap makes it easy for that purpose. The Brita on Tap lets us know when it's time to change the filter, and it also gives a warning ahead of time so we can make sure we have a fresh filter on hand. Great product.

They are exactly the same as the white colored ones I've used in the past. However, they are much better looking. Keep in mind that the "red" light turns on after a certain period of time NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU ACTUALLY USE. So figure out for YOURSELF how long it really is filtering and making the water clean. Otherwise you might throw it out too soon! (Read the box for the times . . . don't follow the red light)

these have replaced an undersink reverse osmosis filtration system at considerable savings - not only is there now more room underneath the sink, but for the cost of a single replacement filter cartridge i can buy three years' worth of these brita cartridges - i make sure to change the filters on the equinox and solstice dates during the year

I have had no issues with these filters and love them. People who complain about the light not working on the base unit are falling for a marketing gimmick. Those indicators are there to get you to replace your filters more often. Use the taste of your water to tell you when to change the filter. I use mine for at least 9 months at a time. Granted, I am a household of one, and I am very diligent about changing to non-filtered for anything that's not drinking, coffee or cooking water. Yea, sometimes the base leaks a little. Whatever. I just position the filtered stream so that the non filtered water doesn't get into whatever I'm using as a receptacle. I've had the same faucet unit for 6 years and have never had a need to replace anything but the filters. The filter WORKS and the proof is in the taste of my water. Everything people complain about is minor compared to the convenience of having safe, great tasting water at the faucet.
